Podcast Video Editing, Full Episodes and Clips

One recording, two jobs: a full episode people stay with, and clips that bring new listeners in.

The full episode

A video podcast should feel like you're sitting at the table. That means switching to whoever is talking, cutting to reactions at the right moments, and keeping the conversation moving without making it feel chopped up.

  • Every camera synced to clean audio, switched to the speaker.
  • Dead air, false starts and long tangents trimmed, keeping the natural feel.
  • Levels evened out so no voice is louder than another.
  • Your intro, outro and guest name titles applied every time.

The clips

Clips are where new people find your show. We watch the episode for moments that stand on their own: a strong opinion, a story with a payoff, a line people will want to send to a friend. Then we reframe them for vertical, add captions and open on the best line.

Why one team for both

If the same editors cut the episode and the clips, everything looks like the same show and the clips point back to the full episode. It's also one brief and one handoff instead of two.

Our podcast clipping guide goes deeper on clips, and repurposing long form into shorts covers turning any long video into short form. See the longform work, then tell us about your show.

Questions people ask

What do you need from a recording?

Each camera file plus the separate audio tracks if you have them, your show package (intro, outro, fonts, logo), and any timestamps you already know you want cut or clipped.

How many clips do you cut per episode?

We agree on a number up front based on how often you post. We'd rather give you a handful of strong clips than a pile of weak ones.
